50 Boko Haram members were confirmed dead after a gun battle
with the military in Borno State on Thursday September 5th.
Confirming killing the Boko Haram members, spokesman of the
7 Division of the Nigerian army in Gajiram and Bulabulin Ngabura communities in
Nganzai and Konduga local government areas of Borno State.
“The troops pursued the terrorists to their camp with air
support about 50 terrorists were killed in a shootout. Subsequently the villages
have been rescued from the fangs of the insurgents. At the moment, the Five
Brigade troops are pursuing the remnants of the fleeing gunmen by blocking all
possible exit routes,” Musa said.
The exact number of civilian casualty is not known.
I think Nigeria is beginning to get a hold of Boko Haram, we
will soon get over this menace.
