| The iPhone 5C |
Apple is set to announce the release another of its
wonderful brand “iPhone”. Apple will release the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S on
September 10th.
The iPhone 5C will be
a whole new brand of plastic chassis that comes in a variety of colours, this
means that iPhone 5C will be cheap; I believe that this is to battle Samsung
which they have been losing a lot of grounds to in the Smartphone market. It is
expected to come in up to six shades of colours including white, blue, green,
red, and yellow. It is said that it will
carry a 4 inch screen and the body work will be curvier than the iPhone 5, an
8-megapixels camera, it will run on iOS 7.
The iPhone 5S just
like the iPhone 4S will just have updates to it to be better than the iPhone 5
and will have the addition of champagne and graphite coloured variants. It will
have a fitting 4 inch screen, 2GB of RAM, a 12-megapixels camera, and there
should be a dual-LED flash. It is rumoured to have a fingerprint reader, this
rumour hasn’t gone away since Apple acquired Authentec, which has lots of fingerprint
scanning-related IP. But I don’t really believe that the fingerprint scanner
will be included in 5S, my thought is that Apple will include the scanner in
the iPhone 6.
The phone war is getting to a bigger battle ground because Apple
has decided to come out of its skin of making only very expensive and luxurious
phones to making cheaper phones. Apple
has seen a lot of competition in the smartphone world since the start of Google
phones especially the Samsung galaxy brand which is making relentless efforts
to top all other brands.
I sincerely hope to
see a better, cheaper, and more colourful iPhone.
Better specs will be given when the phones are released
