Nigeria just won the group stage for the FIFA qualifier where
they played Malawi. The game held in Calabar Nigeria. The match ended 2 nil and
Nigeria was on top of the game.
Nigeria took control of the whole game. Emmanuel Emenike
scored the first goal in the first half while Victor Moses scored the second
goal of the match in the second half with a penalty shot that occurred when
Indican Unsama committed a foul which got him a red card. Emenike got a yellow
card and was later substituted for Shola Ameobi.
Nigeria really applied a lot of pressure on Malawi. The thing
about the Malawians is that they are good at counter-attack and don’t joke with
any opportunity they have got.
