Serena Williams beat Victoria Azarenka to get her 17th
grand slam and her 5th US Open trophy. The match ended 7-5, 6-7,
6-1. The match held at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
It’s been 14 years since Serena won her first grand slam
title and she is still holding it strong. The winning has increased her career
prize money to more than $50.
The match was a tough one as strong wind was blowing the
ball around the court misguiding it. The match lasted for more than two and
three-quarter hours.
Serena will be a legend to be remembered in the history of
tennis for all time.
