It is completely surprising (but still exciting) news, Katy Perry has been named the top certified digital artist ever by the RIAA.
She earned the title by reaching 72 million cumulative Digital Single certifications, which is a fancy way of saying that people really, really love downloading and streaming her music.
No artist have ever passed the 70 million mark until now, so she’s kind of a big deal.
