Super falcons on Saturday in Abuja fought for a 1-1 home draw with Equatorial Guinea playing the first match of their 2016 Olympic Games Qualifying Fixture.
Following the update of the match played at the National Stadium’s mainbowl, the Falcons really struggled to show how Great they are and put the match under control.
With the visitors always threatening through the flanks, the Falcons who were already missing the pace of Asisat Oshoala upfront were always cautious of going forward. But, after 25 minutes, Halimat Ayinde put her team in the driving seat with good shot from a good turn on the right side of the opposing penalty box.
