2019: INEC To Announce Results Electronically

The Independent National Electoral Commission says apart from giving physical duplicates of results of the 2019 elections to party operators, it will likewise be reporting the outcomes electronically.

INEC, in this way, approached telecoms specialist organizations to help the commission.

The Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said this when he went to the Executive Vice-Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Prof. Umar Danbatta, in Abuja on Tuesday.

He said a similar system would be utilized as a part of the Ekiti and Osun governorship decisions in July and September, separately.
